Conn NWI Altsaxophon - Artist

Ich biete hier ein Conn NWI Altsaxophon mit wunderschönem, dunklen Goldlack und Art Deco - Portrait Gravour mit Seriennummer 110***, also von 1923. Es wurde eben in meiner Werkstatt serviciert, die Mechanik eingezogen, der Microtuner instand gesetzt, sowie die Deckung und Einstellung optimiert. Es liegt sehr gut in der Hand und spielt sich leichtgängig und mühelos über den gesamten Tonbereich. Den Klang würde ich als rund, sehr warm, farbreich und ausgewogen bezeichnen. Die Intonation ist aussergewöhnlich gut für ein Instrument dieses Alters, wobei ein großkammriges Mundstück dazu empfohlen wird. Die Polster sind in gutem, gebrauchten Zustand. Mit dabei ist eine solide Bags Tasche. Gerne zum Anspielen in die Werkstatt kommen.

I am offering a Conn NWI alto saxophone with a beautiful dark gold finish and Art Deco portrait engraving, bearing the serial number 110***, meaning it dates from 1923. It has just been serviced in my workshop: the mechanisms have been adjusted, the microtuner repaired, and the coverage and intonation optimized. It fits very comfortably in the hand and plays smoothly and effortlessly across the entire range. I would describe the sound as round, very warm, rich in tone, and well-balanced. The intonation is exceptionally good for an instrument of this age, though a large-bore mouthpiece is recommended. The pads are in good, used condition. A sturdy Bags case is included.
